Passed annual fitness test

I'm quite sore today because I had my annual Air Force fitness test yesterday morning. It consisted of waist measurement, pushups, situps, and a 1.5 mile run. I passed with a score of 81.65, slightly higher than last year. I ran the mile and a half nine seconds slower than last year.

On the road again

I'm about to leave my parents' house in Madison, Mississippi for Colorado Springs. A bit late in the day, but I woke up at 2pm. I had to set up my laptop to rip the LazyTown soundtrack I bought at Wal-Mart last night to FLAC and MP3. Foobar2000 has CD ripping abilities now. Wal-Mart is selling Midnight Chocolate Milk from Promise Land Dairy again, but in plastic instead of glass.

Traveling

I'm using free wifi at a Texas rest stop. I left Colorado Springs a day late, 12 noon Tuesday instead of Monday. Four hours later I was on top of a mountain in New Mexico. I was driving across Johnson Mesa and saw a nice hill. It didn't look that far to the summit. So I parked on the side of the road and jogged up Towndrow Peak (8624 feet). Photos at flickr.

I purchased 1000 shares of MSFT for 21.87 last week. It is at a multi-year low. Vista and Office coming out, Gates leaving...
A drive can be nice

I drove for the first time in about a month. I took a Ford Ranger over to Comm Town. It is a nice sunny day.

I walk five minutes to work and five minutes back home to my tent. We should be moving living spaces soon, and then I'll probably have to take a bus every day to work since I don't think my office is moving anytime soon.

http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:USAF_380_AEW_new_facilities_060214-F-0000J-001.jpg

Cartoon protesters torch US firms in Pakistan

Thousands protesting cartoons of Prophet Muhammad rampaged through two cities in Pakistan, burning and vandalizing Western hotels and fast-food restaurants in violence that left at two people dead.

At least two people were killed in Lahore, where intelligence officials suspected outlawed Islamic militant groups incited the violence to undermine President Gen. Pervez Musharraf's US-allied government.

In Lahore, rioters also damaged over 200 cars, dozens of shops - many locally owned - and a large portrait of Musharraf, witnesses said.

American brands were targeted. Protesters vandalized a Citibank branch and broke windows at a Holiday Inn hotel, a Pizza Hut and a McDonald's restaurants.

A security guard shot and killed two protesters trying to force their way into a bank, said Interior Minister Aftab Khan Sherpao. At least 11 other people were injured in the riots.

Very cool. But will they get to keep their accounts and/or addresses when they leave school?

Is this a test before they offer a similar service to businesses? How much can a business save by using Google hosted email services instead of managing it themselves? I guess we just need Google Calendar.
